Valentine's Day Line Up

Valentine's Day 2020

Introduction

What is a shop without a Valentine's Day line up or special? More on that special later. I would like to first talk about what Trinket Shoppee has to offer for this season. If you would like to see an item in my Etsy shop, just like the name of the item. The link will be under the item's picture.

Plushies

My shop's specialty is plushies. I have three special ones for this event. They are the Ribbon Heart Plush, the Sweet Heart Plush, and the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry. Those are the plushies that were made with Valentine's Day in mind. There is one other plush that is being included because of its nature and style. That item is the Moon Elf Doll. But first, let's talk about the Valentine's Day plushies.

Ribbon Heart

The Ribbon Heart was made with a pattern from Bauldemalinka. The heart is to make a special gift for Mother's Day. I decided to go one step further.

I decided why should this pattern stop at Mother's Day. I decided to make the heart to order. At the moment it only comes in red, glitter red, and pink. The custom order part comes to play with the text. I am willing to emborder anything on the ribbon. As long as it is not strongly worded. The ribbon can only hold up to two short words on it.

The roses on the hearts are hand-rolled and crafted. They are then glued onto the heart. Glass beads are added to the roses to give them a bit of a fancier look. You can not choose the look of the roses. I choose to do this to make sure that the color or colors of the roses matched the heart. You can choose if you want roses or not. The ribbon is made with a cream color and the emborder is made to cause the words to pop.

Sweet Heart

The second item is the Sweet Heart Plushies. The pattern for this plush was also made by Bauldemalinka (click here to see the pattern). The plushies look like pastries with icing on them.

They are made to order and only come in these colors. I am planning on adding to the colors that they can be. I just don't know what colors I want. So, for now, these are the only options.

Chocolate Dipped Strawberry

The final plush that I made for Valentine's Day is the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry. I had toyed with the idea of making a strawberry, but I couldn't figure out how to make it. It was not until I was talking with my mom about how to make them. She suggested I could fashion a stem and use one of the heart patterns.

This plush is also made to order. It only comes in the colors that are in the picture. The stem and leaves are dark green. The chocolate is brown, but I do plan on adding white. Although I have never had a white chocolate strawberry before. The strawberry itself will always be red with yellow seeds. Sadly the flower does not come with the strawberry.

Moon Elf Dolls

The last plush that I will be talking about is the Moon Elf Dolls. These cute dolls are based on the D&D race. But as you can see the dolls all have silver skin and white hair. I made with choice based on the color scheme that most fan artists color their elves.

These dolls are made to order. But because of all of the different choices that they have I have made it so you can tell me how you want them to look. I only have three hairstyles for these elves at the moment. I do plan on adding more, but I don't know what to do next. Maybe you all can help me come up with some styles.

Potions

Along with plushies I also make and sell potions. The potions that I make are fake and do not have magical abilities. The potions come sealed. The lids are glued shut and the cork can not be removed.

The first potion we are going to talk about is what I like to call a basic love potion, a potion of young love. The reason why I call this basic is that it is a normal love potion that is seen in almost all media.

I also thought of that love as foolish. Since it is the love at first sight kind of love. The type that I am most likely to get. I just can't help myself sometimes.

Young Love Potion

The potion is made out of hair gel and food coloring. It has beads and fabric petals in it. This helps it have a love potion look. The label is an added notch. It makes sure that you don't get your potions mixed up.

Deep Love Potion

The second potion that I have for sale is this deep love potion. The best way to describe this potion is as a truer love. It's the type of love that someone will die for. Or rather it is the kind of love that causes someone to put their needs before your own. This potion is also made out of gel and food coloring. Like all of my potions.

There are only two more potions. Since I make them, all the same, I shall stop wasting time and talk about the items. We'll start with the prettier of the two first.

Pure Love Potion

The Pure Love Potion is one of my favorites. It is a light purple and has white and pink fabric petals in it. This is what I think pure or true love looks like. Maybe the Deep Love Potion is what this one looks like when it is distilled.

Betrayed Love Potion

The Betrayed Love Potion is a dark version of the other potions. It is a poison of heartbreak. It is what I think that feeling looks like. A dark blue glittery potion of agony.

I had my heart broken one too many times. I know what it feels like. I made this potion because I know that the day before Valentine's Day is the day that most people get their heartbroken. I thought it would a nice touch to the lineup.
